“Mr. Speaker, I would like to thank my Bloc colleague for putting this very important motion forward today. Maybe my colleague could speak about how this government has completely forgotten forestry workers and the forestry sector, and how unfair it has been, in terms of government support for sectors that are struggling due to the harm and damage that Donald Trump’s tariffs are causing Canadian workers in industry sectors, and forestry workers in particular. We heard from the premier of British Columbia just yesterday. He spoke about how the forestry workers in B.C. have not been fairly treated compared to other sectors. We believe that those other sectors should be supported. I also know many forestry workers in Quebec are suffering. I hope my colleague can share her perspective.”
