It partnered with well-known, far-left American activists to attack Canadian history, Canadian institutions and Canada’s first prime minister.³ It was all paid for using taxpayer money.⁴ The CBC is a Crown corporation.⁵ Its mandate is to serve all Canadians, not to target them, not to deceive them and certainly not to produce political propaganda designed to denigrate their beliefs.
