The government recognizes the need to work together as a nation to be prepared so that we can protect all Canadians. That is why the government has committed $316 million through budget 2025 to the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre to lease firefighting aircraft to establish a surge capacity. Can the Minister of Emergency Management and Community Resilience update the House on how we are better preparing for the upcoming wildfire season?”
