Replying to Ben Carr (Liberal)
“Madam Speaker, I am curious. The opposition has been talking a lot, understandably, as have we, about the importance of the development of the natural resource sector. The implementation agreement that we negotiated recently with the Government of Alberta is contingent upon some important factors that will ensure we find balance between that development and environmental protection. My colleague across the way talks about scrapping all of these policies that are contingent upon a pipeline being developed in partnership with the Premier of Alberta who supports it. Does he disagree with the Premier of Alberta in relation to that question?”
