“Mr. Speaker, the Liberals just keep backtracking on the fight against climate change, to the point where the outgoing MP for Laurier—Sainte-Marie has come to the worst possible conclusion. Speaking on QUB radio, he said: “We’re going to see that, with the backtracking there’s been this year, the United States under Donald Trump is doing more to tackle climate change than Canada is.” By the end of the year, he believes that Donald Trump’s record will be better than that of the green banker.
