Replying to Tim Watchorn (Liberal). The question was off topic, so this reply is judged against the motion.
“Mr. Speaker, I have been in the House for about one year, and all I hear from the other side is doom and gloom. I would like to talk about some positive stuff that is happening in our area. I too have a forestry sector in my riding. Forestry is a challenge. However, I was lucky enough to go to the opening of a graphite mine that will be the biggest in the G7. There are a lot of mining opportunities in B.C. and in Quebec. I would like to know what the member opposite thinks of all these mining investments and our focus on critical minerals.”
