Replying to Guillaume Deschênes-Thériault (Liberal)
“Mr. Speaker, across New Brunswick and Canada, young people are ready to work, learn new skills and contribute to their communities. What many of them need is an opportunity to prove themselves. Every year, the Canada summer jobs program enables thousands of young people to secure their first job with local businesses and organizations. I would like to ask the minister to explain what our government is doing to strengthen this program so that more young people can have a rewarding work experience this summer.”
