Replying to Patrick Bonin (Bloc Québécois)
“Mr. Speaker, the Liberal member for Laurier—Sainte‑Marie wrote in La Presse that he fears his government is abandoning all of its net-zero goals. His Prime Minister is trying to impose another dirty oil pipeline in western Canada without meeting any of his own conditions. There is no increase in industrial carbon pricing and no protection for our water, and the methane and clean electricity regulations are being watered down to please the oil and gas lobby. The Liberals have no chance of meeting their climate targets. If the Liberals will not listen to the Bloc Québécois, will they listen to their colleague?”
