Replying to Burton Bailey (Conservative)
“Mr. Speaker, my colleague just delivered an informative, excellent speech. Some hon. members: Oh, oh! Burton Bailey: Mr. Speaker, members can laugh all they want. The Liberal government’s Bill C-5 would create the Building Canada Act, and it was to build at speeds like nothing we have seen before. Bill C-39 adds the word “strong”. I would like to ask my hon. colleague if that word is the only thing that the Liberal government has built in the last 18 months.”
