Replying to Kevin Lamoureux (Liberal)
“Mr. Speaker, over the last 18 months, whether it has been a minister or the Prime Minister, we have heard about how we are going to build a stronger and healthier Canada. A major component of that is unionized labour. We constantly hear about the government’s desire to encourage, promote and get unionized labour involved in the building of a stronger Canada because we cannot do it without it. We have excellent programs such as the Red Seal program, and the enhancement and promotion of it. I am wondering if the member can provide her thoughts on that aspect of labour.”
