“Madam Speaker, I thank my colleague for her excellent speech. I am very happy to know that there are so many manufacturers in Guelph. I come from a region that has many as well. For example, Quebec City is home to 27 industrial parks, and Beauce also has a large manufacturing sector. My colleague spoke at length about predictability. Having worked in banks and lent money to businesses, I know that all banks need predictability. All businesses and businesspeople need it, too. What does Bill C-39 contain that will help provide the predictability everyone keeps talking about, encourage investment and strengthen our supply chain?”
