Replying to Sukhman Gill (Conservative)
“Madam Speaker, my hon. colleague from Langley Township—Fraser Heights delivered an incredible speech and touched on the main points that Canadians are facing today. I know that the hon. member has also dealt with the truck driver members in our community, who did a convoy from Abbotsford all the way down to Vancouver. They went through the member’s riding. They were struggling to deal with high diesel prices, as the motion dealt with. I would like to ask my hon. colleague how we would give immediate relief to Canadians and what we would have done differently as a Conservative government if we were given the opportunity.”
