Replying to Sukhman Gill (Conservative). The question was off topic, so this reply is judged against the bill.
“Mr. Speaker, I thank my hon. colleague, as he is doing fantastic work within his riding of Sherwood Park—Fort Saskatchewan, across the region and across the country. He is advocating for youth and youth employment. Many of my peers and I can relate to many of the same consequences that Liberal governments have put forward. Recently, many of my peers reached out to me during the Abbotsford-to-Vancouver convoy in the Lower Mainland of Vancouver, which was a rally against high diesel prices and against the fuel excise tax in general. Youth are struggling in general. Youth are struggling across the nation, and they want results, especially because they are even struggling to work in blue-collar jobs. I would like to know what the hon. member will be bringing to the table from our Conservative Party. I would also like to know what he has to say in opposition to the members across the aisle, who have brought minimal relief instead of full relief for Canadians.”
