“Madam Speaker, I would like to thank my colleague for all of his work. In 2008, when we had the world economic recession, it was former prime minister Stephen Harper and former minister Jim Flaherty who put together a plan to infuse money into infrastructure and build to keep the Canadian economy strong, and it worked. We now see the Prime Minister taking that experience and having us build nation-building projects and infrastructure and diversify our trade. All of these things are working. Can my colleague expound a bit on the evidence we are seeing that things are moving in a better direction?”
