Replying to Elizabeth May (Green)
“Mr. Speaker, I am inspired by my colleague from Northumberland—Clarke, who thinks that the Liberals are losing when they use the words “far right”. I wonder when we will start calling the current government the “near right”, because I find very little difference between what was found in the Conservative platform and what is being implemented by the new government, which still has the title “Liberal government”. I wonder if my friend from Northumberland—Clarke notices that there have been quite a number of elements of the Conservative platform implemented recently.”
