Replying to Gabriel Hardy (Conservative). The question was off topic, so this reply is judged against the bill.
“Mr. Speaker, the bill appears to put off 50 decisions until later. Of those 50 decisions, 19 will be delegated to a minister, and 31 will be referred to a commission that does not exist yet. Given that this bill is so important and so eagerly awaited by Canadians, should we not ensure that these questions already have answers, rather than postponing them and relying on “maybes”, especially when it comes to something as important as protecting our young people online?”
