“Madam Speaker, legislation is of course important, but there are many roles that society can play. When it comes to parents, guardians, next door neighbours, faith groups, educators and community-based organizations, many people can play a role in making sure we provide young people with the skills and tools they need. I would like to know from the member if she has put some thought into different ways in which parents and other members of society can play a role to really help tackle this huge challenge we have in front of us.”
