“Mr. Speaker, on this side of the House, we believe it is possible to pursue economic development while also respecting our environmental obligations. I would like to commend the work of the Secretary of State for Nature and the entire team here who have created a nature strategy that will protect 30% of our territory. As for my colleague’s question, obviously, any project will be carried out in collaboration and consultation with first nations.”
