“The immigration minister made bad decisions. She gave easy deals to criminals, let terrorists stay, and spent too much money on refugee hotels. I want to know if she will show up for four hours on Thursday to answer for these choices.”
“Mr. Speaker, I am going to take that as a “No, I cannot do my job and will not show up for work for four hours.” I understand why the minister does not want to show up for four hours. In the last two weeks alone, there have been multiple cases of sweetheart deals for non-citizens convicted of serious crimes. Terrorists are still in Canada, and money is being poured into refugee hotels. I will ask again, will the Minister of Immigration show up for the full four hours on Thursday night and be held to account for her terrible decisions?”
