“Families and small businesses in my riding are struggling. I want to know what the member heard from people in her riding.”
“Mr. Speaker, we just came back from two weeks in our constituencies, where we had the opportunity to meet with the people we represent. In my riding of Aurora—Oak Ridges—Richmond Hill, I heard story after story of families and small businesses that are struggling. I wonder if the member could share with us what she heard in her riding at the other end of the country. I represent a riding in Ontario; she represents one in British Columbia. I wonder if she would share with us the types of things she was hearing. Perhaps it was different than what I was hearing in my riding.”
