Mr. Speaker, I would like to thank our colleague and dear friend, the member for Laurier—Sainte-Marie. I just want to say that it is an honour to work with him here. We have been friends for a long time, of course. It was an honour to work together as MPs in the House. It is a great honour for me. It is true that I will miss him here in Parliament, but I know that we will continue to work together. I do not know in what fashion, I do not know how, but I know that courage should be respected regardless of views. What we are dealing with is a crisis, but it is heartbreaking in this moment. I would like to thank the residents of Laurier—Sainte-Marie for their wisdom in electing him as their MP. The only question I would have would be to give the member one more chance to tell us, of all the extraordinary things he has accomplished in his service to this place, what achievement he is most proud of or would want us to remember.
