“Businesses are already leaving Canada or struggling to survive. The government's streaming tax hurts consumers, online creators, and small digital businesses. Why is the government making it harder for Canadian digital businesses to compete in the world?”

Mr. Speaker, we have seen that businesses are already leaving Canada, and the businesses of those who are here are struggling to survive. The Liberal streaming tax will hurt not only consumers, but also Canadian creators, podcasters and small digital businesses that are trying to grow online. My question to the member is this: Why is the Liberal government creating more barriers for Canadian innovation and digital entrepreneurship instead of helping it compete globally?
