“Canadians are struggling to buy food, find jobs, afford homes, and get health care. Does the government really think it is right to rush this huge bill through without enough debate?”
Official Hansard

Mr. Speaker, Canada has the dubious record now of having the worst food affordability amongst all G7 countries. In our communities, we see young people struggling to find a job, and people who cannot afford to buy a home. We see a tremendous backlog in the health care system. We also see the Liberals stand up and tout their credentials on the economy. Does the member opposite think that it is good public policy to bring in an omnibus bill like this and not allow for enough debate to happen in the House?
