“The Conservatives want to end all fuel taxes, which would cost five billion dollars. I want to know if they would also end subsidies for oil companies to make up for that lost money.”
“Mr. Speaker, my colleague spoke about how the Conservatives want to eliminate all the fuel taxes. That would cost the government at least $5 billion. Would my colleague support scrapping all of the oil subsidies so that the government can recoup that money?”
