Warren Steinley Conservative

“The chief government whip did not talk about regular Canadians. He did not mention that 2.2 million people use food banks, or how people are struggling under the government's policies. He only talked about himself, the Liberals, and our leader. The prime minister will not even answer questions about the recession he caused.”

Mr. Speaker, do members know what was amazing about the chief government whip’s speech? He did not mention Canadians once. He did not talk about the 2.2 million people at a food bank. He did not talk about the food bank survey, which just came out, that gave them an F in food security, an F in employment and a D +in legislation. He did not talk about the things that real Canadians are talking about, which we bring to the floor of the House of Commons each and every day, talking about how Canadians are struggling under their policies. He made it about himself. He made it about the Liberals. He even talked about our leader answering questions from the media. It is amazing that he brought that up because his leader is in the witness protection program; he will not talk about the recession he created.
