“I want to know how much these tax credits will cost taxpayers. The government says it will cost billions, but my colleague says it will be much less.”
“Madam Speaker, I wonder if my colleague could clarify what the actual cost would be. We have heard the government talk about billions of dollars, whereas he countered that it would be quite a bit less. What would the cost to the taxpayer be if these credits were enacted in Canada?”
