That is precisely why we have invested in the nature strategy, which aims to protect 30% of our land and waterways. However, it is also important to safeguard the right to navigate on lakes. This is an issue of concern to us, and one on which we are continuing to engage with the relevant municipal and provincial authorities.”

Mr. Speaker, my colleague raises an important issue. Lakes and rivers are indeed a valuable resource for Canadians.
