“The government is cutting short the study of this bill because it is a failure. The public is against it.”
“Madam Speaker, yes, it is an admission of failure. If the government cannot allow its legislation to go through the process of study and clause-by-clause without cancelling it, that is the strongest admission of failure. In fact, it is such an admission of failure that it cannot allow more scrutiny. The court of public opinion is speaking up as well, and quite frankly, they are against what is going on, because they are being attacked.”
