“Seniors in our community are struggling to pay for rent, groceries, and taxes, and more of them are using food banks. The Liberals claim they solved this problem, but they left seniors behind. I want the member to explain how he will answer to the seniors we represent.”

I want to ask him how he would explain to the 22 seniors clubs in our jurisdiction that 8.3% of food bank clients are seniors and that number is growing. We hear those concerns every single time we attend seniors events. They are struggling with taxes, rent and buying groceries. We know the affordability crisis is real in this country, and yet the Liberals claim they have solved the affordability crisis. How will the member explain to the seniors we represent in our community that the Liberals did not take them into consideration?”
