“Our government is bringing in huge investments to build major projects and strengthen the economy. This bill is part of that work. I want to know if the Conservatives support it.”
“Mr. Speaker, we need to look at the larger picture here. We have seen a great example. Through the relationships of the Prime Minister, along with a very proactive cabinet and caucus colleagues, we are going out there saying that Canada wants to see investment. We want to see major projects developed, to the degree where we got half a trillion dollars on the table in the Toronto conference. That is a historic amount of money. When we take a look at Bill C-39, it is all part of it. Building a stronger and healthier economy is what this Prime Minister and every Liberal member of Parliament is all about. Does the Conservative Party support Bill C-39?”
