“The Prime Minister promised to buy more goods from Canada. Instead, he spends more of our tax dollars on American companies while Canadian workers lose their jobs. Why is he sending our money to the United States?”
“Mr. Speaker, after announcements and promises, today we found the results. The Prime Minister promised, just like he is promising today, that he would repatriate production and Canadian purchases to this country. Instead, he has actually increased the dollar value and the share of federal government purchases that go to the United States of America. While Canadians are out of a job because tariffs have prevented them from working, the Prime Minister forces them to send their tax dollars to the same American companies we are competing with. Why is the Prime Minister sending our money south?”
