“The Prime Minister has divided the country along regional lines. This bill is just like an older bill that promised fast construction, but the government has approved zero out of 500 projects. I want to know why.”
“Mr. Speaker, I want to thank my friend and colleague for his great speech. The fact is, with the team Canada approach by the Liberals, there has never been a more divisive prime minister in the history of our country. There is a separation issue in Quebec. There is a separation issue in Alberta. The Prime Minister has divided our country along regional lines ever since he was elected 18 months ago. This is exactly the same legislation as Bill C-5, which talked about building at speeds never seen before. These guys have 500 projects at the Major Projects Office, and they have approved none of them. Why?”
