“Mr. Speaker, we need to look at the targeted measures my colleague from Mirabel mentioned earlier. However, the government has yet to carry out an analysis. By introducing blanket measures and scrapping all taxes on diesel and gas, it is propping up the oil and gas companies. We must support the people, we must take a step back, and, above all, we must ensure that this type of measure does not end up allowing the oil and gas companies to become even richer.”
