“Cutting the fuel tax makes life more affordable for Canadians, along with other government steps. Can the member explain why measures like this are important?”
“Mr. Speaker, as my colleague knows, the idea of the excise tax exemption is in good part to provide affordability for Canadians. It is all part of a bigger package that the government has brought forward. I am wondering if he could expand on why it is important that we bring in affordability measures such as this to support Canadians.”
