“I want to thank the voters in my riding for electing me in the recent by-election, as well as my family and volunteers. Our region deserves a voice in government decisions. I support the Prime Minister as we work to unite the country, grow our economy, and make life more affordable.”
“Mr. Speaker, I would like to take a moment today to sincerely thank the people of Chicoutimi—Le Fjord for placing their trust in me in the by-election held on August 31. Representing them in Ottawa is a privilege that I take on with humility and conviction, a conviction that regions like ours have a place at the decision-making table to build strong communities. I could not meet this new challenge without the unwavering support of my wife, Patricia Boivin, my family, my friends and my team of dedicated and determined volunteers. I also want to acknowledge and thank our Prime Minister. Under his leadership, our government will unite Canadians and diversify our economy while making Canada a more affordable place to live.”
