“Our government is helping people afford basic needs like groceries. We are also building a stronger economy by creating jobs and investing in housing, defence, and infrastructure.”
“Madam Speaker, I can say we are supporting a stronger country and a more resilient economy for all Canadians. We are focused on the affordability measures that every Canadian can take advantage of. That could be by helping to afford groceries and essentials on a monthly basis, where we know Canadian households are cash-strapped, or creating jobs all across Canada by boosting productivity and ensuring that we have the generational investments in housing, defence and infrastructure that the country needs, so we can serve the foreign markets that we are developing quite quickly.”
