“We are open to changes and are reviewing this law right now. It was made by the Conservatives, and we are working to improve it. For the last 18 months, we have been updating the criminal law to keep criminals in jail.”

However, I must remind everyone that this is a Conservative act that we are undertaking a process to improve. Our government, for the last 18 months, has been reforming the Criminal Code of Canada to modernize it and to make sure that criminals stay behind bars.”
