“The government does care about the environment and workers. This bill is the right way forward because it lets us build big projects while working with Indigenous leaders, the provinces, and environmental groups. I want to know if the member has anything good to say about this bill.”
“Mr. Speaker, I have listened to Bloc members comment on this for the last couple of days, and ultimately I would argue that the extreme attitude that the government does not care about the environment or labour could not be further from the truth. Quite frankly, working on major projects, working with environmental issues, working with indigenous leadership and working with the provinces collaboratively is the way to go. Does the member have anything positive to say about any aspect of the legislation?”
