“The member did not talk about this bill at all, even though it includes the fixes he asked for. I want him to read the bill and come back to talk about what is actually in it.”
“Madam Speaker, I quite liked my colleague’s anecdote about his messy bedroom. I think there was a bit of disorder going on in his thoughts this evening, because he talked about everything but Bill C-39. He even talked about another bill that had nothing to do with Bill C-39 when he was talking about streamlining and results. Those things are found in Bill C-39. My question for my colleague is, will he commit to reading the bill in detail and returning to the House to speak to Bill C-39? I think he will find answers to many of his questions.”
