“Most calls to my office about the government's dental program are complaints. Eligible seniors cannot get care, the system is poorly run, and dental offices are struggling. This program is a failure, despite what the government claims.”
“Mr. Speaker, the answer is very plain and simple. I have had phone calls at my office about the dental program, and I can tell the House with full confidence that the majority of those phone calls are negative about the dental program. There are seniors who cannot get access to it who should have access to it. It is a mess of a problem in terms of the logistics and administration of it. Dental offices are struggling. This program is meant to manage the decline of affordability in this country, and once again, it is a failed program that is not working for seniors in the way the government tries to gaslight Canadians into thinking it does.”
