Steven MacKinnon Liberal
“I want to congratulate Anne Carson from Toronto for winning the Nobel Prize in Literature.”
“Mr. Speaker, I know we will get to many questions today, but I do want to extend the greetings and the congratulations of the entire House. It does not happen every day that Canada welcomes a brand new Nobel laureate, this time in literature. We congratulate Anne Carson of Toronto, a proud graduate of the University of Toronto, author of over 20 books, a 2005 member of the Order of Canada and a collaborator with the Rheostatics. I want to congratulate Anne Carson, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature.”
