“Mr. Speaker, our government is focused on addressing affordability for Canadians. That is right. Today, the Prime Minister announced that we will provide $2 billion for the national heat pump rebate, which will deliver one million home retrofits across Canada. This will save families up to $1,400 per year. We will continue to put forward measures that address the affordability challenges Canadians are facing, while lowering emissions at the same time— Some hon. members: Oh, oh!”
