“Some provincial premiers are fighting the hardest against rights to clean drinking water. I want to ask the member how we can hold the government accountable when it listens to premiers more than to Parliament.”
Official Hansard

Madam Speaker, I am concerned that between Bill C-61 of 2024 and Bill C-37, the loudest interventions against rights to safe drinking water came from some of the premiers. I am wondering if my hon. colleague from Parkland has any thoughts on how a government can be held accountable in a Parliament when it pays more attention to premiers than to the operations of Westminster parliamentary democracy.
