“Madam Speaker, I would like my colleague to maybe expand a bit on the difference between when the Conservatives purchased the Chinook helicopters, the C-17s and the Hercules when we were in Afghanistan on deployment, and Bill C-40, which has powers we are very concerned about just being handed over to one person. I wonder if he could expand on the differences between, as I said, the necessity to buy the equipment and expedite it, and then the lack of transparency we are seeing in this bill.”
