“Politicians do not make these decisions. The CRA made its own choice to hire a Canadian company that employs 8,000 Canadians. We are doing this the right way, and the opposition is spreading misinformation.”
“Mr. Speaker, they are fired up on the other side today. Let me say this: Politicians are not involved in these decisions. Imagine what it would be like if I could direct the CRA to hire a friend, or something like that. On this side of the House, the CRA had an independent decision. The decision was clear: It is a Canadian company employing 8,000 Canadians. On this side of the House, with the CRA, we are going to do it right. The opposition can continue with the misinformation.”
