“This bill brings back the 10-cent fuel tax on April 1, 2027. I do not know if there will be another bill after that.”
“Mr. Speaker, under Bill C‑38, the excise tax of 10¢ a litre will be reinstated on April 1, 2027. That is what the bill provides for. Will there be another bill down the road? I have no idea. We will see when the time comes. However, according to this bill, the excise tax of 10¢ a litre will be reinstated on April 1, 2027.”
