“The government talks about growth, but it does not make real decisions to build our economy. It delays projects for energy, critical minerals, farming, and trade between provinces. Until the government makes big choices that actually help these industries grow, its plans are meaningless and do not help Canadians.”

Madam Speaker, I thank the member for the analysis, but I will say this. We have seen, over the last year and a half, nothing but illusions around the potential of getting Canadian energy to market. We have seen decisions to make a decision, and potentially having another decision for, potentially, a shovel in the ground at some point in the next 10 years. The big, catalytic, transformational decisions around growth that the country needs to make today on energy, strategic reserve for critical minerals, agriculture and aquaculture simply have not been made. Even our own interprovincial barriers have not successfully been lowered. We are talking about hundreds of billions of dollars’ worth of potential in our own country that should unleash the potential of what Canada could do for energy and resource security around the world, yet here is a government that goes around making big deals but does not produce a single actual decision to pursue the radically pro-growth policies our country and our people demand. Until that happens, everything else is just conjecture. It is not real, and it is not serving the people in this country the way it should.
