“Canadians need relief from high prices. We should pass this bill to cut taxes on fuel, especially diesel. That will lower the cost of shipping and make groceries cheaper.”

Mr. Speaker, we are looking for relief for Canadians. There is an affordability crisis, but with regard to this bill, Canadians need relief at the pump, especially with diesel prices and the tax on diesel. Therefore, if there is relief by removing taxes on diesel, it will have a ripple effect that will affect the groceries at the grocery store and the goods that are shipped throughout Canada. Hopefully, removing these taxes on diesel would affect the bottom-line prices for Canadians and deal with the affordability crisis.
