Mr. Speaker, we are seeing the effects of these high prices in every part of the country, including in my riding, my region, in Abbotsford and the Lower Mainland more broadly. Diesel prices are very consequential for all kinds of different businesses for the goods that all Canadians use, because we are a vast country. We need to be able to move things around. It is so much more difficult to do almost anything in this country when we have government policy decisions as well as failures to act that are making it more expensive to do that essential work of moving things around in this big country.
