“Canadians see through the Conservatives' words. They want to cut income supports that help people right now. They will likely vote against the school food program again, even though it helps 80% of our public schools.”

Mr. Speaker, I think the problem Canadians have is that they see through the rhetoric on the other side of the House, which would cut the income security programs that a report such as this calls for and that are supporting Canadians right now. If the member stands up and again votes against the national school food program, a program that is in 80% of public schools in this country, that is what Canadians have learned to expect of the opposition when it comes to the supports we are delivering for Canadians and Canadian children.
